Environmental Management
Environmental Management is a systematic, strategic method for environmental problem solving, and for optimizing a company's relationship with the biophysical environment. The purpose of Environment Management is to reduce environmental impacts such as pollution, waste and the consumption of natural resources. This is done through the development and implementation of an environmental action plan, or ultimately, an Environmental Management System. The business advantages of environmental management include identification and reduction of sources of liability; establishment of environmental due diligence; and protection of the personal liability of corporate directors and managers.
